Epson Releases new Pro 4000 A2 Printer

Epson UK has today launched the new Stylus Pro 4000 printer for the professional imaging market.

Designed for the proofing, photography, signage, design and fine art markets, the new Stylus Pro 4000 utilises the latest printing technology from Epson.

Featuring high resolution 2880 x 1440 dpi and 3.5 picolitre dot size printing, the 4000 uses Epson's wide gamut Ultrachrome pigment inks to create prints with a lightfast life of up to 75 years*. Designed to be easy to use with USB 2.0 and Firewire connectivity on both, the printer comes with an A2 sized 250 sheet paper tray as standard and also for the first time on an Epson desktop printer, a 17" roll feed module with single sheet feed functionality.

The printer will come in 4 different printing configurations which must be specified at the time of order: 8 colour Photographic, 8 colour with Epson Stylus Rip v2.0, 8 colour with GretagMacbeth EyeOne Display or 2 x 4 colour Signage/Display.
