What is Colour Management?

Colour Management is the science of colour matching, managing image colour workflow and its associated parts. It is an important process to implement for users who deal and work with, digital images on a daily basis.

Colour Management usually consists of both a hardware and software solution for an existing computer system (ie. PC or Mac) and usually allows the users to see what they print or output from their system exactly. Often it reduces the amount of time spent working on an image, especially at the printing stage, saving both the time and money spent on raw materials used to proof and output images, as well as improving user workflow productivity.
